For those that don’t know, being bald is a choice I had no control over. I have a rare autoimmune disorder known as alopecia that prevents me from growing hair anywhere. Losing my hair was one of the most pivotal moments in the development of my life. I used to ask myself.. why me? But then I saw my mom and thought ver her…Boxed in the confines of my own safety net, I was trapped in a web of insecurities. After many years of reshaping the beliefs I had about myself through personal development, time spent healing the trenches of traumas alopecia encased within my psyche, I am now beyond proud of the uniqueness that I am, I can swap hair and wear baseball caps on days I don’t wanna wear hair. Alopecia has changed me and now bald IS my future. So in my experience, I have learned that what makes you different is what makes you unique, so I wear MY BALD like I earned it. No one can be a better you 🔥NO ONE!!
SEPTEMBER is OUR month to shine baldies
